an okay stay overall

the room was quite spacious and clean. the shower had great water pressure.. i especially liked this feature after a long travel day. the staff members i encountered were friendly and helpful as well.
i found the soundproofing to be inadequate. i could clearly hear hallway noise and street traffic, this affected my sleep quality. also, the hotel restaurant was underwhelming.. the meal i had there was not enjoyable.

The restaurant was not good, i found out. it was actually the worst meal i had during my trip. i also had to pay for parking! the rate seemed overpriced for this area. It was 21 cad per night. the hotel is in a good location but this was disappointing.

Acceptable but Flawed Experience

The hotel had onsite parking and it felt secure.
The room service breakfast was a major disappointment. I called and ordered a standard Canadian breakfast, paid a $5 room service fee and a $15 tip, but received the food in a box with paper napkins and wooden utensils. This boxed presentation soured what could have been an okay stay. I expected proper cutlery and service for that price.
